you should try using a humidifier in your room when you sleep it will keep your room moisturized. Why is it that when i go to sleep, after cleansing and moisturizing my face, i still wake up withdry skin?
because you are washing the essential oils off your skin that it needs to stay hydrated, this oil can also cause pimples so go figure. anyways you need to find a facial cleanser that also hydrates. oil of olay makes different kinds for different skin types. some people swear by globbing Vaseline on your face at night, but that might also clog your pores. just be sure when you cleanse you do so gentle and no more than twice a day. also moisturize! hope this helps.
You need a product without mineral oils or petroleum in it. Both just make the problem worse. I have incredibly dry skin and was having the same problem. Your face is not getting enough mosture from whatever moisturizer you are using. I started using a skin care from a company called L'bri and it cleared mine up within 10 days! Totally worth the little bit of extra money and the stuff will last almost a year. Its an all natural product, no added colors, preservatives or fragrance. all of they're products are aloe based even they're makeup!

exfoliate..........twice a week
try using a product that does not have mineral oil in it. that just sits on the surface and if you go to bed right after you moisturize, it's probably not sinking in and ending up on the pillow. stay away from toners that contain alcohol. use witch hazel instead. alcohol is very drying to the skin. The bits around your eyes is just the natural moisture your eyes excrete known as tears. It's normal.
