also, what are the different kinds of teas? I have been drinking tea for years but I really don't know the difference between tea, herbal tea, infusions etc.....

Green tea is best, followed by Black Pekoe tea (Lipton tea bags are primarily Black Pekoe) and white tea. The jury is still out on herbal teas, so I'd recommend not using them for health benefits right now. The important thing is you need 100% natural brewed tea with nothing added. The bottled stuff from Arizona, Lipton, Nestea and Snapple is LOADED with high fructose corn syrup, which is the root of all dietary evil.
