Yes, drink lots of water and exercise on a daily bases, it makes you look more lively and active. With a cleansing routine however, just find a good, simple, 3-step system consisting of a Cleaner, Toner, and Moisturizer, to wash your face with, and do it twice a day, morning and night. If you want your skin to look good, look for a serum ... it's also a moisturizing cream that you apply to your face before the actual moisturizer, and the difference between the serum and moisturizer is that the serum goes deeper into your skin to leave it more moisturized and revitalized. I started using a serum, and I get a lot of compliment for my skin, especially when I'm not wearing makeup. People envy how my skin manages to maintain a healthy, moist look, especially in the winter, where it tends to get dry. I just say I use a serum :)How to get my skin looking nice? / Cleansing routine?
The best way to have great skin is to have a skin care routine:

cleanse your face with Cetaphyl.

apply a moisturizer with sunscreen - ie Purpose

reapply sunscreen or wear a hat if you are in the sun.

repeat at night.

depending on your age, you may want to use a night cream.
Lots of water, acidophilus supplements, fish oil supplements, and wash your face with sea salt at least twice a day.
OK

1. sleep- make sure you get at least 8 hours that will help with bags under the eyes and wrinkles.

2. water- drink loads, not necessarily water just drink loads.(not alcohol as it will give you spots and try to keep away from caffeinated drinks)

3. moisturise before you go to bed, after taking off any makeup, i suggest 'simple' face wipes. make sure you get all your makeup off coz that can do horrors to your skin if you don't.

4. take the time off to relax. it might sound cheesy but a good cup off lemon tea and an hour of chill out time Will rest your skin muscles and make skin smoother and brighter (i said bright not shiny).

5. smile as much as possible- no beauty trick but it is a well known fact that people are more welcoming if they are smiling.

good luck and stick to general health stuff like fruit, oranges are the best.
Exercise is good for the skin and antioxidants (vit a c and e)
Cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin morning and night. If you can afford, buy middle of price range products. Don't buy really expensive creams. And, yes, driniking water does help. Also a healthy diet
Anything that says exfoliate or renew will make you glow. Use anything that says ';acid'; in the ingredients. Glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, etc. They renew your skin cells faster and make you glow. Make sure you exfoliate daily to show new skin. I use Olay Definity Foam and works very well. I also like Neutrogena Health Skin lotion. A tinted moisturizer, if skin is drier, can give you a nice glow w/o the make up look also. A mask at least once a week keeps skin firm and refreshed.
Loads of water, fresh fruit and vegetables. I just use the Simple face wipes and Green People Day Solution.
you can get you some face cleansing stuff and use that every day and night you can get this stuff from Wal-Mart,CVS and any dollar store.Hope I helped
