What is your skin cleansing routine?

can anyone share their skin cleansing routine? i dont do anything but wash my face with water but i really want to start! if you could recommened products for me that would be great. my skin is average -- not too oily, the occasional breakout, you know.

typically its a cleanser/toner/moisturizer? i think. help? What is your skin cleansing routine?
I wash my face with a light paste made from baking soda and Cetaphil lotion. ( Cetaphil is pure lotion and very mild) The baking soda is an excellant cleanser and the lotion won't clog your pores.

Rinse with a buff puff and use hydrogen peroxide on a cotton square as a toner to get the rest off.

Since I'm older than you I use alpha hydroxy to control lines and wrinkles.

It'll leave your face so sparkling clean and really helps with breakouts. Both my daughters use this technique. What is your skin cleansing routine?
My daily skin routine in the MORNING:

1. I wash my face with a cleanser that is good for my skin type. I put warm water on my face to open up my pores, wash my face with the cleanser, then rinse with cold water to close my pores.

2. I moisturize with a lotion that has SPF with a minimum of 25. It helps protect my skin from UVA/UVB. The sun can damage and age your skin, which is why I put some on every morning (unless I'm not planning to go any where. then, i would just put on a moisturizer.)

My daily skin routine at NIGHT:

1. I wash my face with a cleanser that is good for my skin type. I put warm water on my face to open up my pores, wash my face with the cleanser, then rinse with cold water to close my pores.

2. Moisturize with a nice scented lotion.

I exfoliate once a week to remove dead skin cell.
Soak a warm flannel in hot water

Find a cleanser that's suitable for your skin tone (I use the ones at the Body Shop;they do oily, combination, dry, normal, mature and dull)

The Body Shop also do toners and moisturisers too to go with the cleansers.

Its all ranges you see.

Exfoliate at least once a week making sure not to scrub too hard.

I use olive oil and sugar-it gets rid of sead skin cells and black heads.

Every so often use a face mask too
