i'm using this right now - every day - and for the first week, it had excellent results, but now my spots and black heads have returned and i think my skin has gotten used to it. how often should i have been using it, and should i carry on?

It depends how old you are if your below age 25 you actually don't need to exfoliate because your skin natural replaces the old skin with new. But if you like it and want to continue ask your self this is the exfoliating scrub harsh on your skin if the answer is yes then don't use it, it will damage your skin its like using a metal scrub on metal what happens it gets damaged. I personally go with natural products just because its less harsh on your skin and gives greater results. i use baking soda yes that's right baking soda, i mix it 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 tbs of water and rub on my skin in a circular motion for a minute and then wash off ,it is great for exfoliating and for acne scares. search on line it will open your mind form all those useless commercials we hear and how their product is the best when in reality its useless.
